Who We Are
SOLAR is a new federation that integrates the Radiotherapy Societies of Latin America as well as groups of specialists from countries that do not yet have an organized society.
Your organization aims to develop the specialty in the region based on collaborative projects, maintaining the institutional independence of each organization.
SOLAR members are the full members of regional societies and we counted around 1,700 specialists distributed across 13 countries at the time of its inauguration, representing more than 95% of the installed equipment base in the region.
One of the federation's objectives is to expand its representation, integrating specialists who are not yet formally linked to their regional societies.
The following are signatories to the memorandum of understanding between the companies at its inauguration:
