SOLAR present as a speaker at the international event Global Health Catalyst Summit promoted by Harvard and MIT

Radio oncologist Cláudia Carvajal, chef of the Radiation Oncology Service at Clínica Alemana de Santiago and former president of Sochira, was invited to represent SOLAR (Latin American Radiotherapy Societies) at the Global Health Catalyst HOPE+ Summit, which takes place from September 19 to 21, 2025, in Boston, promoted by Harvard University. MIT.
She will participate in the Power Panel of Presidents of Professional Societies, on the 19th, presenting the topic “Radiotherapy in 2035”, with a focus on access expansion, technological innovation and international cooperation. The invitation recognizes its contribution to strengthening radiotherapy in Latin America and promoting policies that seek to guarantee more equitable oncological treatment in the region.
The meeting will bring together more than 1,000 specialists and global leaders, including representatives of the WHO, AIEA and leading academic institutions, and will mark the 10 years of impact of the GHC, aligned with the UN goals to reduce early mortality from cancer by 2030.
